Coach Mike Stout is a Florida-based triathlon coach, who developed a passion for health, fitness and helping others achieve their goals while serving 23 years in the U.S. Army. He worked with athletes from all walks of life and at different levels of fitness as he prepared them mentally and physically for service to our Country. Throughout his time in the military, he developed creative and adaptive fitness programs with proven results.
This experience is what drove Mike to continue to pursue his passion for coaching to help athletes reach their full potential. He has seen firsthand what athletes can achieve when setting high goals and getting outside of their comfort zone. He believes that this is more than just crossing a finish line; it is a lifestyle. As an athlete and a coach, Mike knows how important it is to have a balance with your sport, your family, and life.
Mike leads by example as a coach and an athlete. He pursues big dreams that push him to be a better person, athlete, and coach. He knows that hardship and adversity build character; it is a lifelong journey.
Mike has worked with athletes of all levels and abilities with a variety of goals. From running your first 5K to ultra-distance; from completing a Sprint distance triathlon to an IRONMAN distance triathlon. He has helped athletes qualify for the Boston Marathon, USAT Age Group Nationals, to IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships. He is dedicated to his athletes and their success. He believes that successful coaching is based on a partnership with open and frequent communication.
