Coach Lindsay Zemba Leigh is the Associate Head Coach at No Limits Endurance. She is an integral part of the senior coaching staff, and supports Head Coach Maria Simone on all aspects of team management, coach mentorship and athlete development.

She has a passion for fitness and endurance sports, that’s been with her all her life. She uses this passion and knowledge to support athletes to be their best and help reach their potential. She is based in the Harrisburg, PA area, where she coaches clients locally and remotely.

Lindsay brings key strengths to our coaching team. She has a M.S. in Biology and is a certified USAT Level III Coach and USA Swimming Coach. Additionally, She is a NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Training Peaks Level 2 Accredited Coach, Certified Yoga Instructor, and NESTA Nutrition Coach.

Lindsay was a competitive swimmer from a young age and throughout college. She also ran cross country her last 2 years of college. This perfect blend of formative athletic experience eventually led her to become a formidable triathlon competitor, having done multiple Ironman Triathlons, including two world championships in Kona, and seven marathons. She’s also completed multiple 100 milers, including the Umstead 100, Vermont 100, and Rocky Racoon 100.

Lindsay has experience coaching athletes of all levels – from beginner to elite, and for all distances – from the 5k to 100 mile distance, from sprint triathlon to the Ironman distance. She works with athletes in various endurance sports, including triathlon, swimming, running, cycling, spartan/OCR, and motocross.

As a full time coach, mom of two, and an active athlete, Lindsay understands the demands of finding a work-family-training balance. She works closely with her athletes to ensure their training optimizes their available time – and progresses them toward their big dreams. She helps her athletes with all the integral pieces of preparation – from the physical to the mental parts of training. She holds her athletes accountable, with plenty of support, regular correspondence, and training designed specifically for the details of their life and goals.

Lindsay coaches by example with her hard work ethic in both triathlon and ultra-running. She is a cheerleader for her athletes. To ensure the training is meeting the athlete’s needs, she employs data analysis, which allows her to view each athlete’s individual strengths and areas of opportunity.

She encourages regular communication with her athletes, and hopes to take each athlete as far as their potential will go, while balancing the demands of an active family and work life. She dedicates herself to her athletes, and expects a similar standard in return from athletes in that they follow the workouts and overall plan.

When Lindsay is not training, she spends her time with her two young sons, her triathlete husband, and three dogs, a hamster, and a gecko.
