Alexa Boyce is a Senior Level No Limits Coach, USAT Level 1 Certified Coach, a certified personal trainer, and a nutritionist. She has been active in the health and fitness industry as a coach since 2011.
As a health coach, she takes a holistic approach to living a healthy lifestyle. She firmly believes that nutrition is the base foundation for any athlete. Eating a good diet will not make you a great athlete, but eating a poor diet will prevent you from becoming one.
Alexa is a Michigan native and she discovered running in her mid-20’s as dare from her sister. Although she was always physically active, she followed a strict, “run only when chased” mentality. Showing up to her first 5k without ever running previously, she quickly discovered what so many of us intuitively know, that running goes significantly better when you actually train.
Within 6 months of that first race, she discovered her love for running and ran her first marathon for Team In Training, in an effort to raise money and awareness for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. After running multiple shorter distance races and nine marathons, she made the transition to triathlon racing. Alexa loves training, and testing her limits in all types of endurance sport. She is an avid cyclist, and is frequently heard, singing,”It’s Bike Day!”
Having found her passion for the sport, she continued to follow her journey from athlete to coach.
