This led to him eventually obtaining is bachelors and masters in Kinesiology with a focus on exercise science and sport psychology. His passion for athletics transitioned to the endurance realm when he found obstacle course racing in 2014. It is this experience that led him to become a running and OCR coach, as well as a strength and conditioning specialist.

Since then, he has devoted his time and energy to learn how to optimize performance for endurance events.  He has developed a training philosophy that revolves around mindset, nutrition, movement, and recovery. With advanced certifications in corrective exercise, performance training, and behavioral change, Cody takes an all-encompassing approach to improving performance.

Coach Cody is an associate level coach with No Limits Endurance Coaching, working with runners and OCR athletes.

As a lifelong athlete, Cody has always geeked out on the technical aspects, science, and interpersonal dynamics of sport and coaching. By coaching endurance athletes, it allows Cody to live out that passion by building meaningful relationships with his athletes and getting them prepared for their goal events through individualized and specific training.

Cody currently lives in Tampa, FL with his wife Kelli, who is a captain in the Army, and their boxer Bella. He plans to coach remotely while traveling the world for Kelli’s military duties.
