Coach Sophie Evans is a Level 1 certified USA Triathlon coach and licensed massage therapist. A massage therapist for 10 years, Sophie now works with a small group of elite triathletes and runners. She is an associate level running and triathlon coach with No Limits Endurance Coaching, bringing her years of experience in sport to endurance athletes in Colorado and across the United States.
A native Canadian living in Longmont, Colorado, Sophie graduated with a BSc in Occupational Therapy from McGill University, where she also played varsity rugby and rowed crew. After graduating, Sophie made her way down to North Carolina to work at Duke University Hospital. In NC she continued to race her single scull up and down the East Coast. It was at Duke where she discovered her love of coaching – as a volunteer assistant with the women’s D1 crew program and head coach for the men’s club team.
Sophie did not start triathlon until her late 30’s, requiring her husband to teach her how to swim! After completing her first sprint Tri, she was hooked. Since then she has completed multiple 70.3’s, 140.6 (including Kona) and Xterra races (including Maui Worlds 2x). In addition to triathlon, she is an avid mountain biker, and recently completed her first ultramarathon in Scotland. She seeks races that provide an experience where we can get outside of our comfort zone, to test our abilities.
She works locally with triathletes and runners in the Longmont, CO area, as well as remotely. Whether you are working toward your first time or your fastest time, Coach Sophie can help you achieve your big dreams. Sophie lives with her husband, son and 2 adorable dogs in Longmont, Colorado.
Coach Sophie has availability for her 2024 athlete roster. Contact us today to get connected with her!
