Coach Kelly Rose Thomas is passionate about helping athletes achieve their goals and appreciate the journey along the way! She specializes in working with high level triathletes and endurance runners during their pregnancy and postpartum chapters of life (remember, postpartum is forever!!).
A Master Level Coach with No Limits, she has coached endurance athletes for more than 13 years and has been a physical therapist for more than 10 years. Her coaching style is holistic, collaborative, and focused on the goals of her athletes. She recognizes while there are no shortcuts to endurance training and racing- these events require consistency, patience, and a careful balance of mental and physical training with recovery- there are creative ways to integrate training into life. Coach Kelly values lifelong learning and integrating what she learns to help athletes achieve their goals.
Coach Kelly loves the adventure of training and the excitement of racing! Her passion for running began nearly 20 years ago when she set and achieved the goal to score 100% on the Air Force fitness test. She continued to run for fun through college and graduate school, completing races from the 5km to marathon distance. She once told a friend she loved running so much she wasn’t interested in ever doing a triathlon. Famous last words! One summer, several of the patients she was treating were training for the Beach to Battleship 70.3- so she decided to sign up for the race and has lived the multisport lifestyle ever since!
